This page describes privacy for the website and the REM Status Android app.
REM Status Android app
The REM Status Android app displays the website https://www.le-rem-est-en-panne.ca in an embedded view (WebView). It does not collect any personal data itself: all interaction (viewing status, submitting reports) takes place on the loaded website. Data is therefore handled as described below for the website.
Website
The website uses user reports (problem type, optional station) and official alerts to display REM status. Reports are rate-limited by IP address (hashed) to prevent abuse. For any questions about site data, use the Contact page.
Future changes (notifications)
A future version of the app may offer push notifications (e.g. when the REM is down or back in service). In that case, a notification identifier (token) would be used to send you these alerts; the privacy policy will be updated accordingly.
